About Me
My name is Kendrick Moss Umstattd
I am a senior software engineer at Google and a mentor and freelance writer. I worked with Women of Silicon Valley, a Humans of New York spin-off, hosting and producing the first two seasons of WoSV's podcast. In May 2019, I graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with distinction in both.
When I am not coding, taking my French Bulldog puppy Drizzy on hikes in the Hudson Valley, going to Equinox Ropes & Rowers classes, or traveling to Florence and L.A., I dedicate my time to empowering the next generation of women to create the lives they want, especially when that involves pursuing a career in STEM. My children's book STEMpowered is available on Amazon. Buy it here.
