Of all the newsletters I have subscribed to, the following four are the ones I am happiest to pause my day to read.
1. theSkimm
Delivered every weekday morning, theSkimm provides a summary of major events in an easily digestible, understandable format.
2. Broadsheet
Fortune's description of the newsletter explains it best: "For and about the world’s most powerful women." I especially appreciate the stories about women in tech, some of which I would not have found on my own. Check out some of the recent newsletters here.
3. Rebooting
Formerly a member of the teams at Wired, Vanity Fair, and Bon Appetit, Jordan McMahon now writes for The Wirecutter, part of The New York Times, and creates the newsletter Rebooting. It is described as "a self-care survival guide for technologists." McMahon adds, "Every other week, I discuss different ways to use technology to enrich rather than inhibit our lives."
A treat every Friday morning, this newsletter collects recommendations, interesting articles, recipes, and fun/thought-provoking social media posts and accounts to check out at the end of the week.
